The annual Best of Awards celebrate the wedding industry’s most exceptional professionals and venues across California, and we’re incredibly honored to be recognized among them. Being selected for this award is both humbling and exciting, and we’re grateful to be included alongside so many inspiring businesses throughout the state.

This recognition belongs not only to our team, but also to the couples who choose to celebrate with us and the creative partners who help bring each wedding to life. Thank you for your trust, support, and for making Greengate a central part of so many unforgettable moments.

We are thrilled to announce our most recent feature in Style Me Pretty for Shannon and Brian’s beautiful November wedding! The article highlights the enchanting alfresco destination wedding held amidst the picturesque wine country landscape. With moss green and peach tones elevating the ambiance, the ceremony was surrounded by breathtaking views and lush greenery. Custom florals from Unique Floral Designs framed the romantic pond-side ceremony, setting the perfect scene.

The ceremony, led by one of Shannon and Brian’s closest friend, was deeply personal, incorporating a traditional Scottish Quaich ceremony to honor their heritage.

The reception continued the magic with tablescapes adorned with pink accents and bespoke printed menus. The couple's love for cooking and hosting elaborate meals was reflected in their wedding details. They displayed their collection of cookbooks, rented a wooden hutch to house them, and provided personalized bottles of olive oil as guest favors.

The cocktail menu, crafted with the help of Flair Project, featured three signature drinks: a coconut fat wash bourbon old fashioned, an herbal vodka cocktail with yuzu lemon foam, and a tequila-based drink nodding to their engagement in Mexico City. These unique cocktails were a hit, making the reception one of a kind.

Their wedding planner, Jane Alexandra Event’s vision of “elegant, magical” was brought to life with string lights, up lighting, and disco balls, ensuring the party remained lively and bright. Instead of cake, ice cream from Negranti Creamery was served, adding a fun twist to their November celebration.

A highlight of the evening was dancing on stage with the band under twinkle lights and disco balls, creating memories the couple will cherish forever. Sharing a toast with Irish crystal champagne flutes from Brian’s parents' wedding added a special touch, celebrating their 36 years of love and support.

Our most recent feature in Style Me Pretty reminisced on the beautiful union of Stephanie and Kevin this past fall. This timeless wedding stole our hearts with it’s elegant decor, light and airy aesthetic, and romantic details!

“Designing Stephanie & Kevin’s day was an honor and a joy! As a fellow wedding vendor, Stephanie had long dreamed of her wedding day and soon after meeting Kevin knew it wasn’t a question of ‘if’ they were going to get married but ‘when.’ Being a part of the Theoni Collection team, Stephanie’s design vision was clear and in keeping with her personal classic & timeless aesthetic. It was so fun to walk through selecting tabletop items & furnishings from her own collection, and she left the rest to us!” Sarah Strausser, Embark Event Design.

Stephanie and Kevin’s wedding was a celebration of authenticity, reflecting their love story in every detail. Their talented planner, Embark Event Design, went above and beyond in fulfilling her clients wishes. From the carefully curated menu by Field to Table to the eloquent florals from Blooms by Morgan, every element was infused with their personal style. This customized design was incorporated into the couples signatures cocktails by Copper & Crystal with hers being named for Alaska and his for California, representing their home states.

The couple envisioned a gathering which felt like a cozy dinner party at home, where warmth and romance filled the air. Greengate Ranch & Vineyard provided the perfect backdrop with its lush trees and natural beauty, exceeding their wildest dreams. For them, the venue itself was the main design detail, and they simply aimed to enhance its charm.
