We’re excited to share some wonderful news—Greengate Ranch & Vineyard has been named Best Central Coast Venue for 2025 by California Wedding Day!

The annual Best of Awards celebrate the wedding industry’s most exceptional professionals and venues across California, and we’re incredibly honored to be recognized among them. Being selected for this award is both humbling and exciting, and we’re grateful to be included alongside so many inspiring businesses throughout the state.

This recognition belongs not only to our team, but also to the couples who choose to celebrate with us and the creative partners who help bring each wedding to life. Thank you for your trust, support, and for making Greengate a central part of so many unforgettable moments.

Zach + Carli’s gorgeous summer wedding is our most recent feature in Style Me Pretty! This feature is extra sweet and close to your hearts because Greengate is Zach’s family ranch. Quite literally raised in the vineyards, Zach grew up surrounded by rolling hills and bursting vines at his family’s ranch, Greengate Ranch & Vineyard. Not only is the property full of memories with family, friends and late summer nights but it is full of memories from his wedding day with his forever love.” said Sarah Strausser, of Embark Event Design. Alongside Sarah, Zach + Carli planned the wedding of their dreams! The lush vineyard was the perfect setting for the couple to bring both of their families together in the place where their love has grown.

Noonan’s Wine Country Designs highlighted the beauty of the natural landscape with bountiful neutral blooms lining the aisle and arbor. From the secluded pond, the party made its way to our newest event space - the stables! Bella Vista Designs, Avenue Twelve, and All About Events adorned the blank canvas with whites, neutrals, and rattan highlighting the natural lighting of the space.

"The Stables neared completion at the same time that we were dreaming up Carli & Zach’s wedding, and visiting the venue with them & their families to see all of the finishing selections along the way was such a fun way to design both the flow & details of the day." Zach + Carli’s was a celebration to remember! They truly pulled out all the stops to celebrate their love including a delicious dinner by Field to Table Catering, a classic and elegant wedding cake by Just Baked SLO, and cocktails inspired by their hometowns being poured all night long by Copper + Crystal. The couple capped the night with a jump in the pool with their closest friends and family - ending the night with a splash!

Wow - What a ride 2021 has been and we aren’t even done yet! Coming out of 2020, nobody knew what to expect for the 2021 season and we are so happy to say that we have had one of our busiest and most exciting seasons yet. Vendors and couples came together to make some serious magic happen this last year. We still have two and a half months left in our season, but wanted to give everyone a quick update and a peak at what to expect in 2022!

This season we had one major surprise: The Stables! We renovated our old 1950s horse stables into an entirely new venue space unlike anything else in the area. As an optional add on, this all white and bright space is the perfect canvas to design your dream ceremony or reception. The glass doors make for the dreamiest lighting and one of the best views you can find in Edna Valley!

We can’t wait to see what kind of visions our 2022 brides are going to dream up in both this new space and in our classic Barn + Courtyard - we love it all! We are wrapping up 2021 and going into 2022 with a nearly fully booked calendar for the next year. We encourage any brides and grooms to come out and see the property soon if they are looking at 2022 dates… otherwise, we look forward to seeing you in 2023!!
