BRIDES | Shaina + David

We are thrilled to announce that one of our most memorable wedding weekends has been featured in BRIDES! Shaina and David’s early September wedding was nothing short of magical, and we are honored to have been part of their special day. With her impeccable attention to detail and creative vision, Vanessa Noel Events transformed Greengate Ranch and Vineyard into the perfect setting for their dream wedding. Every detail was meticulously crafted to create a memorable experience.

The festivities began with an intimate Rehearsal Dinner on Friday evening, set against the stunning views of our vineyards. The ambiance was warm and inviting, echoing the late summer sunshine that inspired the decor. Their closest loved ones dined at a long table adorned with a vibrant array of fruits and floral centerpieces curated by Jenn Sanchez Design, along with custom menus by Emily Baird Design, adding a refreshing and distinctive touch.

Later that evening, the couple hosted a welcome party with a Hawaiian theme, a nod to their engagement trip to Maui. Guests enjoyed tropical rum cocktails hand crafted by Sidecar Cocktail Co., delicious food truck fare, and tables decorated with palmetto palms and grapes under bistro lighting.

Shaina and David’s wedding day was a blend of rustic charm and sophisticated elegance. The ceremony took place on the Grand Lawn, where potted plants and trees created a meadow-like atmosphere. Guests watched as Shaina’s dad walked her down the aisle to Daniel Jang’s violin cover of “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The couple exchanged heartfelt vows under our serene walnut tree.

As part of their special day, Shaina and David snuck away in a 1997 NAS Land Rover Defender in British Green, perfectly complementing the rustic yet elegant vibe of their wedding. This classic vehicle provided a stunning backdrop for some of their most cherished portraits taken by their photographer Brandon Kidd, adding a touch of adventure and timeless style to their celebration.

The reception at The Stables transformed the space into an urban restaurant feel with white banquettes, warm velvet draping, and modern floor lamps. Guests dined at tables with stoneware plates, custom menus, and white floral centerpieces. The dessert table featured a cookies and cream wedding cake adorned with flowers and a figurine of their dog, Lucy.

The couple’s first dance to “You and Me” by Lighthouse, their middle school slow dance song, brought their love story full circle. Family played a central role in their celebration, with highlights including David’s 105-year-old grandmother and Shaina’s Grandpa Bruce singing “Love Me Tender.”

The day after the wedding, guests enjoyed an al fresco brunch on the Grand Lawn, complete with a lounge area, striped umbrellas, and a variety of brunch options. It was the perfect way to wind down and celebrate the newlyweds.

We are honored to have hosted Shaina and David’s wedding at Greengate Ranch and Vineyard, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness.

The Knot | Sutton + Nick

When it came to celebrating Sutton and Nick, the combination of Greengate Ranch and Vineyard, the blooming colors of spring, and a couple deeply in love was magical. The Knot broke down how this wedding perfectly captured the essence of a romantic and whimsical celebration from the picturesque landscapes to the charming decor.

Greengate Ranch & Vineyard provided an idyllic backdrop for this pastel spring wedding. The venue's rustic elegance and sprawling grounds set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. With its ample greenery, rolling hills, and breathtaking views, it's no wonder this venue was chosen to host such a special day.

When you’re on the property, “you're surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect canvas for color”

The couple's choice of a soft-hued palette perfectly complemented the season, adding an ethereal touch to the entire event. Soft shades of blush, lavender, mint, and baby blue were incorporated throughout from the floral arrangements by Plenty of Petals to the table settings from All About Events. These delicate shades created a romantic and blissful atmosphere that captured the essence of the season.

Sutton and Nick exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony held outdoors amidst nature's splendor. Along the aisle, arrangements of beautiful blossoms guided the way. Surrounded by family and friends, Sutton and Nick said “I Do”. The soft breeze and the gentle chirping of birds created a serene ambiance, making it a truly unforgettable moment for everyone present.

From custom wedding invitations designed by Swell Press Paper Co. featuring delicate watercolor designs to handcrafted place cards, every detail of this wedding reflected the couple's personality. The courtyard was decorated with sparkling fairy lights, creating a dreamy atmosphere as the sun set over the vineyards. The guests were treated to a delicious menu catered by Field to Table that showcased locally sourced ingredients and a stunning multi-tiered wedding cake.

Sutton and Nick’s wedding was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories captured on film by Carlie Statsky. The love and joy shared between the couple and their loved ones were undeniable, making this wedding a truly unforgettable event.

From the article: “Mika and Steve fell in love with the grapevines, barn, and lush gardens at Greengate the moment they stepped foot onto the property. "[It has] rolling green hills and a vineyard as far as the eye can see," the couple shares. ‘We loved the fact that you were only 10 minutes from the beach, but still had a very rustic setting.’ An added bonus? Their entire wedding party was able to stay onsite so they could fully celebrate the weekend's festivities.”

Their extended memorial day weekend wedding festivities included Rehearsal Dinner at the Ranch House, followed by Welcome Drinks for their additional guests at the Pool Arena. Check out the feature for more on Mika and Steve’s wedding story.
