We’re thrilled to share some exciting news—Greengate Ranch & Vineyard has been named a finalist in California Wedding Day’s annual Best of 2025 awards!

This prestigious awards program celebrates the most innovative, creative, and talented professionals in the wedding industry across the state, and we’re honored to be recognized among them. Finalists were selected through an open online voting process, and the winners will be announced at the Best of 2025 Awards Gala on Tuesday, May 13th.

We’re proud to be finalists in the following categories:
• Best Outdoor Venue – San Luis Obispo
• Best Overall Wedding Vendor – San Luis Obispo
• Best Central Coast Venue – Statewide
• Best Venue – Statewide

It’s an honor to be nominated alongside so many incredible vendors who inspire us every day. Thank you to everyone who voted for us and continues to support what we do—we can’t wait to celebrate together in May!

It’s that time of year again! California Wedding Day has announced its Best of 2024 and Greengate Ranch & Vineyard is excited to be a finalist in all three applicable categories: Best Indoor Venue, Best Outdoor Venue, and Best Overall Wedding Professional.

Being nominated in three categories is an incredible honor and one that we don't take lightly. We're immensely grateful to California Wedding Day for recognizing our efforts, and even more grateful to our industry colleagues who have supported us every step of the way. To be counted among the best of the best is a humbling experience, and we're filled with gratitude for everyone who has contributed to our journey.

As we eagerly await the results, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has chosen Greengate Ranch & Vineyard for your special day. It is our couples love stories that inspire us, drive us, and remind us why we do what we do.

All winners will be announced May 21st at the Best of 2024 Awards Gala hosted by The Majestic Downtown. Results can be found on California Wedding Day immediately following the event on. Thank you again to all of our amazing couples, vendors, and supporters for the nomination!

We had the honor of celebrating the love and heritage of Denise and Luis in the fall! This beautiful celebration, published on BRIDES, perfectly encapsulated elements of their traditional culture with an added modern twist. Denise and Luis shared their first impression after touring, saying“It was definitely love at first sight. Because both of our family backgrounds are rooted in ranch settings, we knew the venue would tie into our theme perfectly.”

Embark Event Design brought this couple’s vision to life with balanced elements of old and new. To match the theme and embody the al fresco and modern traditional Mexican elements, the color scheme included dark red, burnt orange and subtle blue hues. On the day of, a mariachi band surprised Denise and her bridesmaids to help kick off the special day.

Ceremony and reception were covered in beautiful florals by April Flowers and furnished by All About Events and Avenue Twelve. Following their Mexican ceremony, the couple and their guests headed to the Barn & Courtyard for their reception. The courtyard was dressed in autumnal blooms and neutral linens set against the backdrop of the rustic barn. The couple was handed specialty drinks hand crafted by Copper and Crystal as guests sat down for a delicious dinner prepared by Field to Table Catering & Events. From there, the guests danced the night away with a live mariachi band. We had such an amazing time celebrating Denise and Luis!
