Thank you for booking with Greengate Ranch & Vineyard! We are so excited to be able to celebrate you! As you dive into planning your weekend of wedding celebrations, we want to make sure to get ahead of any questions you might have. Please find some helpful information below. Feel free to reach out with any questions and enjoy the planning process!

 As you pick out your planner, please remember…

  • Your planner MUST be approved in advance of booking! If your planner was found outside of our preferred list, please make sure you have sent us their information so we can start the approval process and your planning can get underway.

  • Your planner MUST be contracted for either “partial planning” or “full planning” services, meaning that your planner needs to be contracted at least six months in advance of your wedding. “Month-of”/“day-of” coordinators do not meet our requirements.

  • Your planner MUST be contracted to manage any additional events onsite reaching or exceeding a guest count of 50 guests. These additional events might include: Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Party, or Farewell Brunch.

  • In line with our Planner Agreement requirements, we ask that you plan a final walk through with your planner in the final months prior to your wedding so we can discuss final details for all weekend events in the event locations onsite.

  • Finally, your planner will submit all final documents (weekend timeline, layouts, vendor list) one month ahead of your wedding so we can all start gearing up for your big day!

Prior to choosing your remaining vendor team, please remember…

  • Your wedding day caterer MUST come from our closed catering list.

  • Your vendors must have insurance coverage with our entities added as additionally insured: Greengate Ranch & Vineyard, LLC and Greengate Farms SLO, LLC. This is an industry standard, but it doesn’t hurt to make sure they are aware in advance of booking. Our team will reach out to your vendors to collect insurance information in the weeks leading up to your wedding.

  • There are unfortunately a few vendors in California who are not welcome to work here at Greengate due to past incidents while working onsite. Please make sure you check in if you have any questions prior to booking your vendor team, as we do reserve the right to refuse any non-preferred vendors.

A few things to be reminded of…

  • Onsite parking: Winter/Spring couples - our Parking Pasture is weather permitting. In the case of heavy rain before or on your wedding/event day, the parking lot may be deemed unavailable. In this case, onsite parking will not be available to your invitees. The nearest available all-weather parking lot for rent is across the street at Trinity Hall or down the road at Cavalli Estates in the case you or your planner would like to inquire.

  • Wedding Insurance: We do require all couples to obtain wedding liability insurance coverage with our entities added as additionally insured: Greengate Ranch & Vineyard, LLC and Greengate Farms SLO, LLC. Cover My Events is the provider we recommend (as they cover a 3-day span), although you may obtain a policy from many insurance providers.

  • Smoking: We are a non-smoking property. With that said, your planner may designate a smoking area at your reception with Greengate approval. We take this policy very seriously, so if there is a chance any of your guests/attendees will be enjoying a cigarette, cigar, etc, you will need to communicate this to your planner so she/he may plan to set up a designated area.

  • Amplified Music: If amplified music/professional sound equipment is played anywhere on property, including indoors, past 10:00pm, your entire security deposit will be withheld. We pride ourselves on being good neighbors and take this rule very seriously. If you have a question regarding a personal speaker you are planning to bring onsite, please feel free to reach out!

  • Disposables: Disposables are not allowed to be used on your wedding day. This includes beer cans and seltzer cans. You may; however, use disposables at your Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Party, Farewell Brunch, etc. For safety reasons, glassware is not permitted at the Pool Arena.

  • ATV/UTV Use: No all-terrain vehicles or utility terrain/task vehicles, including golf carts, are allowed to be brought on premise or rented by guests. Cars and shuttles are allowable transportation options.

  • Pets: We are pet friendly; however, we do charge a pet fee for any authorized overnight pet. If you are interested in bringing your pet with you, please reach out! Wedding attendees are not permitted to bring their pets with you to your wedding.

  • Sparklers, cold sparks, hay bales, feather boas, and confetti are not permitted on property.

We have a number of optional add-ons, as well as additional event fees that you might be interested in adding as you plan out your celebratory weekend! Add-ons may be booked at any time up until one month in advance of your wedding weekend.

A full day's event use is already included in your wedding package for your wedding day. This fee applies to any additional event on property that exceeds the listed number of guests (Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Party, Farewell Brunch, etc.)

UPGRADE YOUR PACKAGE / BOOKING ADD-ONS
You may upgrade your package or book add-ons at any time throughout your planning process up until one month in advance of your arrival, availability pending.
