the wedding weekend experience
Designed to be a retreat for you, your friends and your family, our weekend wedding packages include two or three nights of accommodations for up to 26 guests in all four of our luxurious vacation homes, with full access to multiple grand lawns, the Pool Arena, the Willow Pond, and the Wood Barn & Courtyard. These spaces include a variety of areas for a welcome dinner, cocktail hour, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and even send-off brunch. Permanent guest restrooms, catering area, tables, and more are also already on site and available for your use in addition to the permanent installation of bistro lighting in our reception Courtyard.
You will have exclusive access of our property. Take advantage of the ability to host multiple on-site gatherings with your family and guests, or venture off-site and explore this coastal wine country with activities, such as wine tasting tours, yoga, paddle boarding or surfing, golf, massages, or personal chef services.

To have everyone stay on the property was all we ever wanted but the venue gave us so much more than that. The quality of the houses were top notch. We will be back through VRBO. At the end of the evening on Saturday night when Todd and I were walking back to our vineyard cottage, he said the night went so well, and everyone had the best time, a lot of what we did helped, but honestly, the venue really made it so special.
We are so thankful that it all worked out, the timing and just everything. God couldn't have been more gracious to us all, the venue, the date (with covid) the weather, the guests... it was just perfect.

There were so many moments where we felt that we picked the absolute best venue out there - from the gorgeous scenery & well-kept grounds to the stunning cottages & "Bridle Flat", and from the incredible weather & lovely location to the exceptional staff & vendors. And honestly, we couldn't have been luckier to work with YOU - thank you for being so on top of it, supportive, helpful, fun, and there for us whenever needed. We really appreciate everything that you and your team did behind the scenes so that Brian and I could focus on being truly present during our big day. We knew that Greengate would be a special location for the weekend, but having the houses, pool party, and wedding day sites far exceeds our expectations for our dream wedding.

The best decision we made for our entire wedding process was picking Greengate Ranch as our venue. It is one of the most well run establishments I have ever come across and is absolutely stunning. My husband and I went to Cal Poly and wanted to get married back where we met years (many many many years) ago. Start to finish, GGRV was easy to work with and incredibly communicative. Jena runs an amazing operation and has put together an absolutely amazing vendor list to work with.
We ended up booking the venue from Thursday to Sunday and then just the Bridle Suite until Monday. We had our entire bridal party stay onsite across the 4 homes. The homes have a 5 star resort feeling (unbelievable interior design followed by views in every direction). Jena and team were very flexible and allowed my husband and I to store and drop of wine and beer on Wednesday evening so that it wouldn't get spoiled in the hot sun while we spent a night in Shell Beach. They made the check in and check out process extremely easy. For the entire Thurs-Mon experience, it was money well worth it and well spent. ... Our family and friends who flew in from all over the country were amazed by Greengate, the beauty, and the magic that it creates. Thanks for such an amazing wedding experience.

Getting married at GGRV is an absolute dream. It goes without saying that the venue is stunning and the care and love the owners put into the property is second to none. Beyond that, the team at GGRV is above and beyond anything we could have imagined. They are kind, patient, responsive, accommodating, helpful - everything you could ever want and then some!
We rented out the venue for a full weekend and hosted both our welcome dinner and Sunday brunch in addition to the wedding festivities and it really felt like we were getting married in our home. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how picture perfect the venue was. It's honestly difficult to put into words how amazing this venue is - check it out for yourself and you will not be disappointed! :)

Greengate is one of those once-in-a-lifetime type places. Not only is it beautifully decorated and maintained, it is professionally staffed and such an easy place to either host a wedding, stay the week or host any sort of event. Our wedding was spectacular at Greengate and the pool made for an awesome day of relaxation afterwards.
